LL.B (Hons) @ B. (Hons.) of Law | Program Details

LL.B (Hons) also known as B. (Hons.) of Law [bearing the code LW222] is professional degree in legal study conducted in Faculty of Law, UiTM Shah Alam. Those who did their B. (Hons.) of Legal Studies have option whether to futher their study in this professional degree or not.

However it is strongly recommended for students to further in LL.B (Hons) because without it, the degree program is kind of incomplete. But this program also required the students to achieve fulfill the requirement of CGPA. To secure the place, at least 2.80 or better to get 3.00.

Here the extract of program details from Faculty of Law, UiTM Shah Alam official website:

This is a one year professional training programme for graduates with an LL.B or BLS (Hons) from UiTM or its equivalent. This programme is conducted over two semesters with the aim of developing the skills required of an Advocate and Solicitor. The programme is conducted by a combined team of lecturers with extensive practical experience as well as practicing lawyers with high standing in the profession. External examiners, both local and foreign, are appointed to ensure that high international standards are maintained. Unlike other law programmes, the students work in a law office simulated environment. The students are provided with a practitioner’s office – like settings and are required to work in mock law firms. The programme structure has been designed in such a way that students will actually get a hands-on experience of legal practice to prepare them for the real legal world.

One thing for sure. LL.B is totally different whole world compared to you BLS life. So be ready and be prepared. Life will be never be same again once you step in fellas.
